Designed to delight children and adults alike, The Immersive Carnival of the Animals transports you into a vibrant retro-futuristic world filled with whimsical characters that are part animal, part musical instrument, alongside a playful and interactive scenography.

This international co-production by OASIS Immersive Studios and L’Arsenal à Musique celebrates the universal language of music and imagery, while encouraging collaboration and discovery.

The exhibition is inspired by Camille Saint-Saëns’ world-renowned musical masterpiece and is particularly suited to children ages 2 to 12, families, parents, grandparents and teachers looking to share a moment of curiosity, joy and wonder.

An immersive journey in four acts

Get your light-up bracelet and set off on a four-part adventure featuring three immersive galleries and a creative activity space.

Your journey through Capriccio begins with The Musical Big Bang, where sound and life emerge together to give rise to the species that populate this world. The experience continues with The Survival of Species, a deep dive into fascinating ecosystems where adaptation, beauty, and tension shape the creatures’ daily lives. Finally, Harmony over Capriccio celebrates the balance restored among species in a world where music, light, and projections unite, while the interactive floor comes alive beneath your feet.

The adventure concludes at The Harmony Workshop, a creative and educational space where kids and adults alike can extend the experience through artistic and musical activities, a reading corner, and a souvenir photo station.

Throughout the journey, meet unforgettable characters, including the majestic Grand Liano, the swift Aérophones, the mischievous Altomule, and the enchanting Tortoncello.
The experience is brought to life by a spatialized orchestral recording of the 14 movements performed by the Montreal Youth Symphony Orchestra.
